Harvesting Our Natural Resources

The lesson will introduce students to the economic activities generated from natural resources. The Atlas of Canada will be used to determine the location of the natural resources in different regions of Canada. Students will be expected to look at two resources and locate one region/community whose economic activity is based on that resource. Students will also identify resource related economic facts and test themselves on their knowledge of Canada’s economy.
